Consignor Agreement

All Aboard Book Store

We accept new, current, and compatible educational items and high quality toys in clean, usable condition. We reserve the right to reject any item for any reason. 

Prices: We will price items for you:

• Used Curricula: approximately 40% off retail prices. (New, unused items might price higher.)
• Worn / damaged curricula will be marked down in increments based on condition. *
• As current editions become outdated, they may be discounted.
• Other items: generally at 50% off retail. (games, manipulatives, supplements, literature, etc.)
• Non-curricula items under $4.00: we are free to donate or discount as inventory warrants.**
• We reserve the right to discount prices to promote / negotiate sales in your best interests.

•  A = used, like new condition
• B = slight wearing, binding intact, creased covers,<10% writing
• C = worn, curled pages, 25% writing
• D = Donated very worn, torn, writing 100%, missing pages, old editions)

**We make every attempt to sell these items, but we reserve the right to deeply discount or donate them, if necessary.

o   Consignors are responsible to put codes on/in items as directed.

o   Commissions will be a 50/50 split with the consignors.

o   We will only take old editions in complete sets. (TE, text, test, keys)

o We will accept other old or worn editions on a donation basis.

o   Items are consigned for one year. You will be notified and are responsible to pick up items or sign a new contract (if items are deemed sellable) within 30 days after the contract date or items become property of All Aboard Book Store.

oConsignors must notify us of any changes in contact information. We will hold undeliverable payouts for 3 months. Repeated failure to contact a consignor during this three month period will result in the contract being null and void. Consigned items and payouts will become property of All Aboard Book Store.

 

 

CONSIGNOR PAYMENTS: Choose One

p Option 1: QUARTERLY PAYOUTS

• Consignors may receive a quarterly payout when the amount owed exceeds $15.99;
• To be paid within 30 days of the end of each quarter.
• Checks will be mailed for a $1.00 processing fee subtracted from the credit due.

p Option 2: CREDIT BONUS

• Consignors may opt to leave their commission on store credit and apply it to in-store purchases.
• BONUS: Additional 10% credit at time of purchase. $100.00 = $110.00 of store credit
• A payout (minus the bonus) may be requested, in writing, instead and paid out for $1.00 processing fee.

 

We strive to take the utmost care of all consigned merchandise. However, All Aboard Book Store and its owners are not responsible and cannot be held liable for theft, fire, flood, other natural disasters or accidental damage.
